What is Bullet Oak?

‘Bullet Oak’ is an evocative name for an exceptionally rare material. Over the centuries, trees standing in the path of conflict absorbed stray bullets—fragments of lead that remained hidden within, slowly creating distinctive grey mineral streaks as the trees continued to grow. Today, rather than overlook these battle-scarred oaks, we honour their extraordinary provenance by transforming them into timeless, handcrafted furniture.

Each piece of Bullet Oak furniture is a one-of-a-kind creation—rich in history, character, and individuality. This material is extremely rare and almost impossible to source, making these items not only visually striking but genuinely collectible.

Crafted from rare Bullet Oak, this bespoke desk combines functional design with timeless character.
